The prince is among representatives of more than 40 countries at an international conference in Vietnam on wildlife trafficking.

Britain’s second in line to the throne says there’s not mystery about  this multi billion dollar business.

“We know who is killing the animals, We known how they get their victims from the killing fields tenth market places and we know what is driving those markets,” he says

Prince William is effectively telling the authorities in Vietnam and Laos that they are doing a great deal to curb poaching but urging them to do a great deal more.

At this rate, a betting man would have to wager on extinction for endangered species, maintains the prince who is effectively making a plea on authorities to be seen to be acting tougher and to put the ring leaders behind the smuggling behind bars.
