]]> Meeting President Donald Trump in the White House yesterday, President Uhuru Kenyatta’s called for increased American investment in Kenya.

Kenyatta witnessed the signing of two agreements for US financing $238-million worth of project in Kenya.

President Uhuru Kenyatta talked about trade and security with his U.S. counterpart.

The meeting could be used to boost the visitor’s development agenda and his fight against corruption and economic crimes

Washington regards Kenya as an ally in the fight against Islamist militants.

Kenyatta heads home to host British premier Theresa May who’s due in Nairobi on Thursday.

He’s the third African leader to be received by President Donald Trump at the White House after Egypt’s Abdel Fatah Al Sisi and Nigeria’s Muhammadu Buhari.
