]]> The European Union’s organised a summit Brussels of officials from government and multilateral organisations aimed at stamping out Ebola and dealing with its aftermath.

It’s looking at rebuilding the economies of the worst hit countries.

In the week ending February 22, there were just 99 new cases of Ebola reported in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.

Challenging the medical experts fighting the outbreak, that started at the end of 2013, many of these cases came from an unknown chain of transmission.

The summit will look at how less that half the promised aid to fight Ebola landed in the affected countries – probably helping the disease take hold and spread

They also look at what will happen as the countries return to normal life. For example, will teachers return to their classrooms.
