]]> Police say two members of the Burundi robotics team that went missing during an international competition in Washington, D.C., have been found safe in Canada.

They were part of the six-person team that did not go home after the competition. Four of them are still missing.

 

16-year old Don Ingabire, and Audrey Mwamikazi, who’s 17, were last seen crossing the border into Canada after leaving the First Global Challenge Robotics competition in Washington.

Police have not specified where in Canada they are now located.

The search continues for the other four members of the team.

Esperence Niyonzima who is the director of their school in Bujumbura, says parents she spoke with are not concerned by their childrens’ disappearance.
