US president Barak Obama believes youth hold the key in the continent he maintains has arrived

Strongly advocating the rights of woman and girls has been a central them of his two-nation African tour that took him to Kenya and Ethiopia.
He says in some African countries they still face discrimination and even abuse in the shape of genital mutilation and child marriage.
These are bad customs, says Obama, that have to be rejected.
