Deputy Minister in the Department of International Relations and Cooperation Luwellan Landers says this formed part of the joint consultative mechanism he attended in Havana last week.

South Africa’s deputy foreign policy chief Luwellan Landers says he’s  noticed changes on each of his four visits to Cuba.

At last week’s  meeting of the joint consultative mechanism, that was established between the two countries 16 years ago, he was asked about South Africa’s Companies Act.

Landers says Cuba’s planning to pass its own Companies Act to accommodate new economic realities.

His counterpart at the Department of Trade and Industry will visit Cuba next month to workshop on this topic
