]]> Egypt’s taken revenge for the beheading of 21 Coptic Christians by a Libyan offshoot of Islamic State

The Libyan government says it helped coordinate the action.

In the early morning dark, Egyptian warplanes strafed Islamic States training bases, camps and weapons stores outside the eastern Libyan town of Derna.

They struck hours after the terrorists posted online video of the Coptic Christians being beheaded.

The victims had been kidnapped some weeks ago and were specifically targeted for their religious.

The immediate response in Egypt is one of support and approval.

The Libyan government has fully supported the Egyptian action.

Mourners are gathering for a memorial service where they are expected to give vent to their anger.

The Copts form about ten percent of Egypt’s population.
