Teowold Ghebreyesus calls the hemhorragic  disease in the DRC the most complex emergency the World Health Organisation has ever had to deal with.

Effective vaccines could curb  the second largest EBOLA outbreak in history that has taken more than 1100 lives.

But violence in the affected two eastern provinces of the DRC and the deep distrust of the local population of government has put medical facilities and workers in the crosshairs.

International Rescue Committee chief David Milliband, who has visited the region, agrees that there is an imminent danger of EBOLA spreading across the border into Brundi, Rwanda and Uganda.
