Zimbabwe Pastor Evan Mawarire, who’s  led protests about hardships caused by government handling of the economy  in Zimbabwe,  has been charged with inciting public violence.

Mawarire, who urged Zimbabweans to stay at home last week,  has also be charged with disturbing the peace.

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni , wearing his iconic broad-brimmed hat, has  got the twittersphere  abuzz  in is country by stopping his motorcade and sitting on a camp chair on the side of the road to  make some telephone calls.

United Nations humanitarian workers are finding  famine like conditions in Nigeria’s Borno State where Boko Haram terrorist are making it even harder to grow crops.
