The Front for the Liberation of the Enclave of Cabinda is  fighting for the independence of the territory containing  half of Angola’s oil production

It’s bent on avenging its exiled leader Nzita Tiago who died in France earlier this year.

The front’s warned  China to repatriate all its citizens who, it says, are  a provocation.

China is Angola’s largest customer for oil.

Angolan authorities have not commented on the FLEC claims.

Because of troubles in Nigerian production, Angola is currently Africa’s largest oil producer
