Having initially refused the British request, the  armed militia holding him has suggested it ’s ready to cooperate.

Greater Manchester Police has issued a warrant for the arrest of Hashem Abedi, whose brother Salman killed 22 people at the end of an Ariana Grande show in May.

On Wednesday evening another spokesman for the the militia, the Deterrence Force or Rada, appeared to contradict the earlier statement, saying they were ‘ready to co-operate’ with the extradition request.

Hashem Abedi was arrested in Libya a day after the suicide attack by his brother.

He is being held by RADA
