]]> The inquest in the Royal Courts of Justice in London into the deaths of 30 Britons in a terror attack at a Tunisian resort is to conclude later.

The delayed response of Tunisian police to the attack by a lone gunman is described a simple cowardice.

A total of 38 people were killed byIslamist gunman Seifeddine Rezgui who was shot dead by police after a 25-minute rampage at a hotel in Sousse on June 26, 2015.

The inquest has examined whether the UK government and travel firms failed to protect British tourists.

The coroner will explain later today why he has rejected a request to rule neglect was a contributory factor in their deaths.

The inquest heard that Tunisian police and hotel security fainted or ran away in the face of the gunman.
