The Mexican government, that has at least two victims among the dead and six of the ten wounded, says it is still waiting for answers.

Mexican Foreign Minister Claudia Ruiz Massieu says interviews with survivors reveal the tourists’ convoy of 4×4 vehicles was bombed by warplanes and helicopters while the victims were taking a lunch break.
The tour company maintains they had told tourist police where they were going and were in fact accompanied by police.
Egyptian officials insist the tourists were in an unauthorised area and were using vehicles similar to those transporting the terrorists being hunted.
They say an investigation led by acting Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab will confirm this.
