Zambian authorities have cancelled a concert  Congolese singing  star Kofi Olmide who was filmed kicking one of the woman dancers in his troops before a concert in Kenya.

Child beggars are being taken off the street in Senegal’s capital Dakar. Many of them are sent out by their teachers  to raise  funds for their schools.

Nigerian Muslims have welcomed  a court ruling lifting a ban on girls wearing the hijab or headscarf to school.
