It follows the seizure of 10 million dollars found in the luggage of two Nigerians and an Israeli at Lanseria three weeks ago.

Agence France Presse is quoting a top official in the office of Nigeria’s National Security Advisor saying his country had an agreement to buy R57 million worth of military hardware in a deal brokered by a South African firm.
The official says Pretoria authorities have frozen the cash wired to the South African firm’s account.
He maintains the issue could affect bilateral relations between Nigeria and South
Africa.
He specifically mentions MTN, with tens of millions of subscribers in Nigeria.

Three weeks ago South African customs officials seized $10 million being carried into Lanseria airport by two Nigerians and an Israeli.
