]]> Rwandans have been voting peacefully in today’s election that can have only one outcome.

It’s being called a coronation for  Paul Kagame who’s run the country since ending the genocide in 1995.

It will be his third successive landslide win.

Paul Kagame’s being called the Lee Kuan Yew of Africa.

Like the authoritarian Singaporean leader, Kagame has driven an economy producing eight percent annual growth.

Nevertheless, more than half his population live on less than $1.25 a day – the international poverty line.

Kagame plans to continue stress order and growth for his next seven year term.

And the 2015 referendum win he scored will give him another ten years in power after which the 59 year old says he plans to retire.
