Moise Katumbi is Democratic Republic of Congo President Joseph Kabila’s powerful most powerful rival.

He’s been charged with undermining state security.

Katumbi’s followers say he’s receiving treatment  for injuries sustained  during clashes between police and thousands of his supporters in Lubumbashi last month.

He’s suffering breathing problems after being teargassed.

Zimbabwe opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai has had  gastric surgery.

He’d arrived in Johannesburg last week on advice from doctors after treatment he received in Zimbabwe was unsuccessful.

Despite reports that he has stomach cancer, South African medical sources say Tsvangirai is on the road to a complete recovery.
